Before finance, Angelika was a federated competitive swimmer, then the top-ranked tennis player in her state, and represented Trujillo at Miss Venezuela 2005 — the first stage where she learned what a public voice can do, planting the seed of Misses4Peace, a non-profit she founded. She financed her studies as a tennis and swimming coach and model. At school she was never taught money. Then, within a single year, she lost her older brother — and then her father. The family company her father had been preparing her to lead was taken over and lost. Her family had to leave Venezuela — home, business, everything. Her mother did not know what to do financially. Angelika set aside her dream of becoming a children’s doctor and chose finance, so that no woman in her family would ever again be unprepared. Resilience, faith, critical thinking and a financial mindset carried her through, none of it learned in a classroom. Twenty years followed at UBS, Credit Suisse and Marcuard Heritage, advising ultra-high-net-worth families. She had mastered the numbers.

II · The Heart · Inner Alignment

“My mother gave me the heart. She could not give me what she had not yet broken herself.”

At Credit Suisse she founded the Women's Investment Network and ran workshops for women. That is where she saw it: brilliant, capable women who knew the theory and still did not act. Limiting beliefs. Old family patterns. A quiet doubt about their own worth. Angelika recognised it instantly — because her mother had taught her to see it. Her mother had begun working on herself long before it was fashionable: on self-worth, on the beliefs a little girl absorbs without noticing, on the patterns handed down through generations. She passed that inner work on to her daughter. No school teaches it; Angelika has never stopped being grateful for it, and it is why the inner game of money has been part of every conversation she has had with a woman about wealth. She trained as a life and business coach, later becoming a Mindvalley Money Coach, and began working with women on the second pillar. She now spoke of two pillars, head and heart.

There was one pattern her mother had never broken: silence about money. And you cannot teach what you have not lived. So Angelika, who had taught women around the world to speak up about money, stayed silent in her own family, where money was taboo. The cost of that silence was devastating. Then, in her weakest moment, her mother stood up and raised her voice. In that moment Angelika understood: without the third pillar, the other two do not hold. Head and heart alone do not free you. You have to be able to say it — negotiate it, ask for it, claim it. She turned that pain into purpose.
